Crazy Dick's Apparel was born out of a passion for custom sport trucks and the camaraderie of close friends who loved working on them. The journey began in the early 2000s when the founder's father invested in his dream of opening a shop to build and customize trucks. Choosing a name for the shop was a challenge until a longtime friend suggested honoring his dad, who had made it all possible. That’s how "Crazy Dick's Rods & Custom" was named—although, as those who knew his dad will tell you, only his mom ever called him "Dick."

Over time, priorities shifted as family life grew, and the focus on custom truck work lessened, but the passion never faded. As the founder reconnected with the custom truck community, the unforgettable name stuck with him. Conversations with friends often sparked creative shirt ideas, and soon, Crazy Dick's Apparel was born.
